About AddressAccepted
AddressAccepted is an independent reference for people choosing a virtual mailbox or mail-forwarding address who need to know whether it will actually be accepted.
Why this site exists
Mailbox comparison sites mostly compare prices and features. The question that costs people time is a different one: will my bank, payment processor, state, or agency accept this address, and in which field? A rejected address can stall an account opening, a Stripe activation, or an LLC filing. We document those policies one institution at a time, each with a source.
How we research
- Prices and features come only from each provider's own pricing page. We record the URL and the date we read it. Where prices vary by location, we say so.
- Acceptance policies come only from primary sources: the institution's help center or documentation, a statute, or a regulator. We quote the relevant sentence and say which address field it applies to.
- No guesses. If we can't find a primary source, the institution isn't listed, or the entry says what's not known. We don't publish anecdotes as policy.
- Re-checks. Every entry carries a "checked" date and gets re-verified on a rolling schedule.
Not advice
This site is general information, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Confirm with the institution before relying on an address.
